Shanghai Green Building Incubator

The U.S. Green Building Council has teamed up with Shanghai Industrial Finance Investment Co. Ltd (SHIF)to offer USGBC members services through a green building technology incubator in Shanghai, China. If your company has ever considered expanding its business into China, this could be an important next step. The environmental imperatives, business trends, and governmental mandates in China signal great opportunity and China is in fact, the world’s third largest market outside of the U.S. for LEED projects. The SHIF green building technology incubator is to help explore business opportunities in China and identifying investment partners in the capital market.

SHIF and USGBC’s are working together to promote the green building industry and LEED in China. To that end, SHIF will provide most of its services to USGBC members at no cost. More than 80 USGBC members have already certified LEED projects in China.
